MasterEmaco P 5000 AP
is
a single component, cement based, multi-use, bonding and active
protective primer.
MasterEmaco P 5000 AP for Sustainable Design and LEED Credits
BUILDING LIFE-CYCLE IMPACT REDUCTION - (BD + C)
MasterEmaco P 5000 AP is proven as a corrosion protection primer for steel-reinforcement in concrete.
This product can be used to re-passivate attacked reinforcement and hence allows building designers
to reuse and maintain the existing building structure; major renovations have a less impactful effect on
the surrounding environment.

No Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is available for MasterEmaco P 5000 AP.
MR Credit Building Product Disclosure and Optimization—Sourcing of Raw Materials
Raw Material Source and Extraction Reporting is not available for MasterEmaco P 5000 AP.
Recycled and Bio-based materials are not used in the manufacture of MasterEmaco P 5000 AP.
MR Credit Building Product Disclosure and Optimization—Material Ingredients
Material Ingredient Reporting is not available for MasterEmaco P 5000 AP, however no toxic substances
such as formaldehyde, asbestos, lindane, chlorinated biphenyls, pentachlorophenol or other forbidden
substances are used in the product.
The product deliberately does not contain any of the exempt compounds of SCAQMD 102.
Health Product Declaration (HPD) and Cradle-to-Cradle Reporting is not available for MasterEmaco
P 5000 AP.
EQ Credit Low-Emitting Materials
MasterEmaco P 5000 AP has a VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content of less than 1 g/l according
to "GS 11 Green Seal Environmental Standard for Paints and Coatings" which satisfies the VOC content
requirements of this credit for interior use.
Emissions Test Reporting is not available for MasterEmaco P 5000 AP.
